The Godfather has nothing on this one.

It’s the not-too-distant future and as a final response to”terrorism and crime”, the U.S. government plans to secretly broadcast a signal that makes it impossible for anyone to knowingly commit unlawful acts. To keep this from the public, the government creates a distraction, installing a new currency system using digital charge cards. Yet true to form the press finds out & leaks the plan to the masses creating mass protests and crime waves. Enter: Graham Brick. A career criminal never quite able to hit the big score, Graham who had been planning on stealing one of the charging stations, skip the country, and live off unlimited funds for the rest of his life now has one week before the signal goes live. I’m actually a big fan of this comic because Rick Remender’s writing has been smart, savage and focused, Perfectly showcasing these characters and their flaws while making you care about them, and Greg Tocchini’s art is nothing less than a perfect fit for this story. Another plus is the size of this book (because it’s extra-sized) you’re getting more story-line for your buck. The only downside is the infuriating four month wait between books. Well worth the money and your time to read, so enjoy.
