The Long Goodbye

It's official, Superman has left Earth. That is what this issue is dealing with. This issue is titled 'The Long Goodbye', and truth be told, that's exactly what this issue is.

It's Superman setting Earth up with various replacements for the time that he will be gone, its a well written issue and it keeps you excited and interested to see what's going to happen next! The artwork is good, its simple, but effective. It's got emotion and portrays the story well visually. I loved the connections between the character's, very good characterisation of Mon-El, Superman, Lois, Ma Kent and others. A good job indeed.

I have to say again, that these Superman/Action Comics issues at the moment have some of the greatest comic book covers I've seen consistently for a series for a while.

A good solid issue which just rounds things off and lets you know what's what on Earth now that Superman has left.

The Origins & Omen's bit at the back was VERY interesting too! Very interesting, it had some hints towards The Blackest Night too. An interesting time for Mon-El awaits!
