There is a new Ms. MArvel and she is nothing like the original. Karla Sofen formerly know as Moonstone is Norman's new Ms. Marvel and she has some issues.
As Moonstone she used her powers to kill, to do evil. Joining the Thunderbolts cleared her record but not her attitude. She is still a killer, still willing to step over that line and take a life.
This issue is just a glimps of the direction the new Ms. Marvel is taking. In the opening pages she takes out a group of hi-tech bank robbing baddies killing the baddies and making no bones about it to the cops.
I am not going to spoil the rest of the action but this is one comic that makes no bones about going in a new direction. Long time readers may not be happy with the changes but this is Marvel and no one stays dead for long so lets wait for the REAL Ms. Marvel to return and set things right!
