The Talent of a Revolutiory

Ronin #4 continues with an exploration of Aquarius and the sacrifices that it took to develop it and the further sacrifices require ensuring the Demon’s secret is not revealed. This is a hard issue to follow as Miller extends his experimental art to encompass a larger canvas; to show the depth of despair that some feel in this new dystopia and the wonders that Aquarius promises, to the select few.

There is a tender moment at the end of this issue that brings the power of Millers story telling and artistic creation to fruition guaranteeing him the prize of one of the greatest wittier/artists of his generation.

To say that this story is a challenge is to understate the fact that Miller is trying to do too many revolutionary things with this story. The fact that he is succeeding speaks volumes of the talent behind the man.
