The Terrifying Imagination of Frank Miller

Frank Miller’s Bad Boy is another master piece from the one of the most original thinkers in comics today. Frank Miller and Simon Bisley know how to lay-out a dramatic and suspenseful story with graphics that standout in your mind well past the time you complete reading the story. It is a shame that we may have to wait for years before we see more adventures of Jason, but even an unfinished masterpiece is better than no masterpiece at all.

The elements that give this comic such a staying power is the struggle that Jason is involved in to free himself from forces beyond his control, while trying to understand who he is and what the world has become. Even though he still retains certain basic memories, memories that would not align themselves to the physical age he is suppose to be, it does allow him certain benefits as children are often not given due credit. It is this decreased expectation that allows him to escape and find adults that may prove to be helpful in his survival.

As readers we are left to ponder what further adventures await little Jason and what has our world come to in the imagination of Frank Miller.
