The Way A Story Needs to be...

The final issue of Valiant’s Turok: Dinosaur Hunter #47 is the best of the whole run. What fitting conclusion to a series that broke ground in depicting a native as a hero without compromises and maintaining a genuine feel for the character and what he represents; authenticity was always maintained. What made this issue special is the way the characters and scenes are so well depicted in the art and the flow of the story is well executed that the story just came together like well fitting clothes. The reader feels comfortable reading about familiar characters that one cares about; the predicaments that they face and the twist and turns that fate bestows on them. Truman can be proud of the ending of this particular incarnation of his character and proudly say that it ended with style and honor, unlike many series that are cut too early or too late. This was done just right!!!!
