This trade collects Nova (Vol 4) issues 13-18. This collection brings us civilization and planetary annihilation courtesy of Galactus and his herald the Silver Surfer, mass murder by the creepy Harrow, the planetary conquest by the Skrulls, a return home and the Skrull Secret Invasion of Earth, and finally the reunion of the Nova Corps Centurions. There is enough action in each of the issues collected to force the heart to skip a few beats once in awhile.
There is a welcome consistency in the art throughout these issues that appeal to my general sense of continuity. This collection reinforces my impression that there has been no better time to engage the Cosmic Marvel Universe than now.
