This is definitely a weird series. Mark Waid is going to places that are hard to imagine and/or absorb. There is a high degree of originality in this issue but a definite lack of coherence, even for a reader that has followed all the twists and turns of previous issues.
Instead of posing a series of questions I will only say that it does take some patience to continue with the themes that are explored in every issue. I simply value the originality of the presentation and the tenacity of Waid to keep surprising his readers.
