If you are into the pirate genre in comics then you should be reading this comic series. It has all the adventure and cruelty to be expected for these swashbuckling characters, but it also has a story line that can very well be translated into a movie by an audacious director and screen writer. This is Blackbeard’s story, and what a story it is; it includes romance, life and death decisions, and friendships born out of desperation and of course the atmospherics that you see in movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean in each of the illustrations. It’s a highly recommended read for all adults with kid’s hearts.
