Trouble Brewing Back at the Raft

After the complete failure of two T-Bolt members (Crossbones and Hyperion), and the security breach of Man-Thing's containment unit, Luke Cage decides he needs a magic user on the team. Who better than to help him with this recruiting mission then former Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen Strange.

The Son of Satan, Daimon Hellstrom recommends his sister Satana for the role of magic user on the new Thunderbolts team. Problem being, she isn't exactly up for the job. Strange, Cage and Man Thing have to fight their way through a series of demonic defences before they can even gain an audience with the sorceress.

Meanwhile, back at the Raft prison facility, US Agent is assembling a back-up Thunderbolts team unbeknownst to Cage. Could make for some interesting dynamics once the leader returns home.

Kev Walker continues with his unorthodox, yet interesting art style with this book. His chunky figures somehow work with the characters and the overall theme of the book.

This book continues to exist just outside of the "Big Events" and I like it. It is relevant but operates on a "C-List" level.

I know I have said so in the past, but if you are considering taking on a new series, look into the Thunderbolts. You will be entertained if nothing else.
