Of all the books Fraction is currently writing, I would have to say that this is his best. He really works well with the Iron Man character. Larroca's style has really changed for this book as well. I loved his older style that we saw in the X-Men books. This is nothing like that. It is still good; it is just very different from the bold stylized lines I'm used to from Larroca.
This issue sees Maria Hill and Tony Stark cleaning out their offices and leaving what used to be called S.H.E.I.L.D. for good. Both characters are represented at their lowest. Tony for instance struggles with his non-extremis based armour. So much so, that I am embarrassed for him as a reader!
During his exit interview with Osborn, Tony is informed that he has to hand over all of the superhuman registration files. Despite Stark's refusal, Osborn attempts to open them himself. To his dismay, Tony has fired one last parting shot, erasing everything on the H.A.M.M.E.R. database and Norman is none too pleased. Looks like the beginning of some serious trouble for Iron Man.
Another good read from this re-born series. If handled properly, this could become the best tie-in during the Dark Reign.
