In this latest installment, Storm continues to struggle against the Shadow King's control over her husband, the Black Panther and her teamate, Cyclops. In an epic battle, Ororo just barely defeats King T'challa but still has to convince the citizens of Wakanda that her husband was possessed.
Chris Yost has a nice handle on the characters. The reader can feel Nezhno's angst as he's torn between his culture and what is just. One of the highlights of this book though has to be the art. Diogenes Neves has a very bold style that is crisp and very effective. he is a Brazillian artist who has done some work for Image and IDW. I look forward to seeing his work on more Marvel titles.
At first I was impressed by Storm's "micro" control over her power, now I am not so sure. When she starts to controle the air pressure inside just Black Panther's ear drums....I think that might be stretching it.
This series has been a nice change of pace. I am a little worried that they are going to have to rush the ending being there is only one issue left and a lot left to be covered. Only time will tell.
