This issue was pretty decent on the whole, I'm not sure if this series however it turning out as good as I thought it would. I had really high expectations for this series and what I've read of the main series so far is only just hitting the minimum of my expectations.
I seem to be enjoying all the tie ins better than the main series itself, but hopefully it will pick up!
Nevertheless, this being said, I am still enjoying it regardless of whether it lives up to my initial expectations.
The plot seems to be moving on farily quickly, I think it's picking up a swift pace, perhaps it's moving a bit too quickly for me.
The major turning points in the plot in this issue didn't have a huge impact on me, they just felt minor details which I was just glancing over.
The dialouge is structured and the plot line is at least moving forward and taking shape. I think in general, this main series hasn't focused on any main characters in specific, it's been focusing on a lot of different characters.
There is drama here and emotion. Which is good. I don't think this series has an atmosphere yet though, which is something I suppose I'm waiting for.
The bits I did like here inparticular were the parts where Crystal was looking over the body of Ronan and when she moved into the infirmary to aid the wounded Kree. That was a well written bit.
I'm not sure if the artwork is holding this series back for me, or if it's that there are too many major plot changes happenening too quickly. But whatever it is, I'm just not fully taking this all in and appreciating it.
That being said though, it is decent.
