Well Constructed Beginning

This is a well constructed beginning to what will be a great adventure for Kull as he has to return to his Atlantean homeland in pursuit of the Heka-La the Hate Witch.

Intrigue follows Kull as he governs Valusia with his Queen Igraine and his friend Brule. And Heka-La leaves a trail of death and confusion as she foments hatred towards Valusia’s King Kull.

I must confess I am not overly impressed with Tom Flemings cover art for this issue, but looking at issue #2 it definitely seems to improve. The interior art is well done with panels that give the script added dimension and excitement. This will be a great adventure, not to be missed by Robert E. Howard fans.
