What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been...

Please excuse my borrowing that Grateful Dead line for my title but...when Nova meets The Sphinx, Reed Richards and Black Bolt all in one issue, its a lot to digest. This is an issue where past meets present meets future or something like that. In an issue where I thought the Sphinx would weigh heavily, he barley made it through a few pages. He mentions a contest between Gods and does a fade-out. Nova and Darkhawk stumble onto Mr. Fantastic who seems to be stuck in the 70's and does not want any updates. You see, Nova and Darkhawk thought they were on earth but later realize that they're in a previously unseen part of The Fault. Although this is a ROK tie-in, nothing is really explained and a lot of bizzare stuff occurs. A rather pedestrian issue where things happen with few results. It's obvious that Marvel isn't about to change the MU within the pages of Nova.
