"Runaway, I’d think. Quite fast." "EVACUATE!" From the first panel, to the last, I loved this second book of a four part arc. The first panel has a menacing close up of Hulks face that is quite spectacular! And the look on Tony Starks face in the second panel, where he delivers the line above, is classic.
Hulk is on a rampage, and it seems that nothing can stop him. Except the proto-type Iron Man suit that Tony has been working on. Good thing he turned Hulk back into Bruce Banner before the suite blew up. Too bad Tony had to bail from the armor while a 100 feet in the air. That’s gotta hurt.
This story arc is getting good. There is more to Hulk than just a failed experiment, and Tony Stark is bound to get to the bottom of it. All the while, Leader struggles to hold up his own massive overgrown brain, while concocting a plan to make himself the superhuman he has always dreamed of. And, of course that means kidnapping Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.
Warren Ellis is doing a great job with this story arc. It is a fun read, and really has my attention. The dialog is intreaging, and I can’t wait for the next issue.
The art work is good. Cary Nord does a good job. It is not my style of art, but it works with this story, and he does a great job of keeping the momentum of this story moving forward.
Don’t miss this story arc. It is fun, and the art is good. I can’t wait for the third installment of this arc.
