Whatever

Well, what can I say? Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to read issue four directly following issue three. Three was pretty good, creating pretty big shoes for issue four to follow. And I have to say, it had a tough time.

Once again the book was broken into four mini-stories covering the daily happenings of various superheroes. This issue examined "The Black Panther", "Captain America" (or at least the influence of...), "Zodiac" and "Cloud 9".

The Black Panther story was the best of the four. Being a long time Panther fan who dropped the book after T'challa stepped down, I was intrigued by the current happenings in Wakanda.

The Captain America story had less to do with Steve Rogers and more to do with the impact finding him in the ice had on a local native man. This story was a little hokey, but whatever.

I laughed all the way through the Zodiac story. Not because he is funny, but because I am probably one of the few people who even knows who he is. He is the very apex of disposable.

The Cloud 9 story was inconsequential but I liked it nonetheless. I liked seeing Cloud 9 back and I thought her reaction to Steve Rogers was exactly what it should have been.

Ultimately, the stories were fairly useless. One bonus however was the cover art. Jae Lee and June Chung put together a beautiful cover for this issue. Other than that though, there was nothing memorable about this book.
