This has been an interesting story arc. Not because the story was particularly good, but the organization of the stories was well planned out. The "Original Sin" arc rotated between this book and the X-Men Legacy series. Most crossovers come across as though the writers don't even talk to each other before furthering their plotlines. This book however, was really quite seamless.
After some tense moments Xavier, Logan and Daken all help one another with their haunted pasts and decide not to kill one another. I was interested in Logan's reaction to Daken when he was attacking him. It was cool to see that both character's retreat to the same place within their minds, but for complete different reasons.
I think the writers need to handle the upcoming Romulus storyline with care. Do we reveal who Romulus is, or leave his identity a mystery? I personally think that some things are best left unsaid.
I do have one question though. How is it that someone with an advances healing factor can have tatoos? Wouldn't the skin just heal and kick out the ink? It rejects poison, so why not tatoo ink? Petty, I know. But this has been bugging me for a while.
I look forward to seeing where Way takes the Romulus story and how he holds together Logan and Daken's relationship.
