I won't start with the obvious and mention lateness. The tone in this book though doesn't really match the previous two. A major portion of this issue is set up as a flashback told by Wolverine. Question is, who is he talking to? It comes across the same way Deadpool does when he addresses the reader. Wolverine even sounds as though he gets frustrated with the reader a couple of times!
When you put aside the above mentioned writing idiosyncrasies, there are actually some strong moments in this book. The conversation with which Wolverine brings Hulk out of his "Zen-like" state is pretty funny. Especially when Wolverine mentions that the Hulk is speaking in third person again. And the dialogue that happens while Hulk is holding Wolverine's legs is really strong as well.
This book is ripe with violence and has always been a good idea for story. Hopefully Damon Lindelof considers us caught up, so that we can stay clear of flashbacks from here on in!
