Who Wants to Fight the X-Men Next?

I think that two issue mini series are really hard to pull off. They almost have to be series who's sole purpose is to clarify some detail from another arc. To take a story cold and start it, explain it and end it in two issues is pretty tricky. This mini was no exception. It was mediocre. Matching the team dynamics of the X-Men versus the Agents of Atlas was interesting, but in the end it came across only as a thinly veiled reason to have the X-Men throw down with the AoA. The story broke into a smaller, secondary story at the back of the book. This involved Venus and the actual Greek God she took her namesake from. It was okay, but in all honesty, I find her the least interesting character on the team.
