Wolverine + Classic Kung Fu Tale = Wickedness!!!

I wasn't really sure what to expect from this book. I have found Wolverine books pretty hit and miss over the last few years. Old Man Logan being a direct hit and Origins being a a pretty clear miss. If issue one of this limited series is indicative of what is to come then this is a sure fire hit. This opening issue was everything a Wolverine fan like me could wish for. Stephen Segovia's art is very close to that of L. Yu's. Beautiful line work. But while the art was good, the story was fantastic! This is classic Wolverine storytelling at its best. Jason Aaron captures Wolverine in a way that few have lately. In this book you will find a classic kung-fu tale in which Wolverine fights his way through hordes of randomly armed martial arts experts. Only part of the back story behind why Wolverine is in Chinatown is revealed. And the last page contains a nice suprise for Wolverine fans. If you like, or have ever liked Wolverine, buy this book. You won't be disappointed.
