Mac Farrand is a smooth operator, and when he sees a gorgeous redhead waiting in a car for some man, he wastes no time in trying to win her over. She tells him to go away, that she has a blind date with another man, but Mac persists, until the woman relents and drives off with Mac. On the terror-filled ride, the woman sheds her disguise and stands revealed as Death. 5 pages.

An old man in a bar tells the story of O'Malley, who was poor but good hearted. For his kindness, St. Peter granted him two wishes. His wishes are strange, and they result in him making friends in neither Heaven nor Hell. When he dies, both places refuse him entrance. The bar patrons ask whatever became of O'Malley, and the old man reveals that he is the man from the story. 6 pages.

An inventor shows his latest work to his skeptical boss. It is a device to communicate with other worlds. He sends a signal, but gets no response, and his boss fires him for his failure. On a distant planet, where aliens were about to test fire their experimental weapons at Earth, they hear the signal, and decide to use another target. 3 pages.

The ne'er-do-well is flat broke, but sees a sign for a free attraction to see Mars. He steps in and takes a seat. The only problem is that he's the attraction with a one-way ticket to Mars. 3 pages.
