"The New Iron Man Meets the Angel!"
Reprinted from Tales of Suspense (1959) #49.
The Angel from the X-Men gets caught near the test detonation of a nuclear device by Stark Industries. The exposure to radiation turns the Angel evil. The X-Men appeal to the Avengers for help, but it is Iron Man who feels personally responsible and sets things straight in a daring sky battle with the Angel. Edited from 18 to 15 pages.
First X-Men / Avengers crossover.

Iron Man is testing out his underwater breathing apparatus and stumbles upon Kraven the Hunter and the Chameleon as they scheme their revenge against Spider-Man, unfortunately on a beach in front of a Stark Industries munitions factory. Iron Man captures Kraven, but the Chameleon is free to plan an attack against Iron Man that will show Kraven that he should be the boss of their team. His plan involves engineering a fight between Iron Man and Captain America. 18 pages.
