A New ongoing monthly series with NEW stories!

Doctor Who has been one of my favorite characters since I was a kid, so an ongoing monthly series featuring new Doctor Who exploits is an obvious add to my pull list. At first glance the first thing you will notice about this new series is the art. Now maybe I’ve been spoiled by some of the truly great art in comics, but there are some truly ghastly panels in this book. The story on the other hand is a truly Doctor Who one, it captures the feel of the show and translates it well to the comic. The Doctor is in 1920’s Hollywood investigation a static point in space and time. When he uncovers an alien plot involving aspiring actors. This is the first issue in a two issue story arc, and this one ends with a cliffhanger The Doctor is tied to the tracks and a train is coming! While the comic captures the feel of the show and has the same witty remarks one might expect from the Doctor. I have to point out that The Doctor didn’t use his normal alias of John Smith once instead he used Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Michael Caine, Pee-Wee Herman. All of these within a few panels. I will continue to pick this title up for a few issues hopefully the art improves. Well only time will tell.
