After reading Static Shock I felt like I fell through a blackhole and ended up back in the 1980/90's. The look of the character was via 1992. The story felt like a recycled 1988 Marvel superhero comic. Again, this book falls into a lot of the new 52 titles - it's average.
All in all - what can I say, the 1990's comics weren't that good - 2.5/5.
