Half the team flies to a small Mid-Western town where racial tensions are simmering after a white youth is accused of sexually assaulting his black teacher. At the trial, it occurs that there are extraordinary forces at work. Meanwhile, down the valley from the New Mexico mountain retreat, something ungodly is growing.
