"Thundra at Dawn!"
It's New Years and most of the FF have nothing to be joyous about. Reed and Johnny find themselves alone after the women they loved left them. Medusa, the newest member, tries to cheer them up. But just when things start to look up, Thundra comes out to Times Square and challenges Ben Grimm to a fight in Shea Stadium. Not being one to turn down a challenge, Ben agrees to meet her. When he shows up, the stadium is packed as Thundra knocks Ben out of the park. Ben comes back but he is no match for Thundra. Sensing that Ben is in trouble, Reed turns Ben back into a human as Thundra gives up the fight since she does not think that fighting a human is a fair fight. But the Frightful Four are not happy with their newest member and her sense of morals as they plot to get rid of her.
