A murderer on the run from the law is nearly caught when he ducks into an alley. A stranger there directs him to a Barber Shop where he can hide out. The Barber knows the villain doesn't want to be found, and he gives him this by making him disappear from the face of the Earth. 5 pages.

When her friend Helen won't tell Mary how she went from rags to riches overnight, Mary is jealous and suspicious. She trails Helen, and sees her thank a homeless man for granting her wish. Mary contrives to get the man to grant her a wish, as well, and asks to be treated like a queen. She learns to her dismay that she been turned into Marie Antoinette, as the peasants drag her to the guillotine. 5 pages (F-471).

The coffee plantation owner is being swarmed with ants, who devour everything in their path. His strongest DDT won't work, so he has his laborers dig a moat which which he plans to trap and kill them. He sacrifices his workers to the ants in a bid to contain them, but ultimately falls prey himself. 5 pages (C-712).
