"The Story Of The Year"
Peter Parker is out to get a story about Henry Peter Gyrich as he gets a few photos of the man leaving a secret meeting. Peter changes into his Spiderman costume to follow Gyrich when Gyrich's vehicle is ambushed by Callisto and Marrow. The two Morlocks want revenge against Gyrich as a way to punish humanity for the systematic slaughter of mutants. Spidey fights against the morlocks in an effort to show them that their aggression is misplaced and killing Gyrich will only make things worse. But things do get worse as Gyrich's secret service team turns out to be Nimrod Sentinels. Meanwhile, Bastion tries to bribe Jamison from digging anymore into his life but Jamison stands his ground and lets Bastion know he will not be deterred from the truth. Gambit finds himself on a strange world as he has been separated from the rest of the X-Men.
