King Conan is surrounded by a band of ambitious men who plan his downfall, the Rebel Four, and in the forced employ of one of these rebels is Thoth-Amon, a down-on-his-luck Stygian wizard. When Thoth recovers his lost ring of power, Conan has more that just a traitorous lot to worry about, as mystical beasts lurk behind the cut-throats.
