Ballistic has been bitten, and the Ethreal lord Kracus wants her for his bride. When she comes across Mother-One, Jester, and Claymore of WetWorks, she goes into a fury and begins to turn. After subduing her, Mother-One uses her symbiote to seal off the Ethreal infection in Ballistic's body.
Kracus, it seems, has become not only more powerful but also more psychotic as a result of CyberData's experiments. His sister, Dia, is unable to control him, and he kills the werewolf ambasaddor while Waering is listening in. In response, Waering instructs Mother-One to find the other Ethreal sister in an attempt to subdue Kracus. But all they find is her head.
