*At Zinco Industries, Marsden and Kurtz's experiment to reach into the next dimension and call back the Master have succeeded, however with surprising results. Instead of Rasputin, they have recovered the Black Flame. His return sets catastrophic events in motion, and the monsters which had risen from the depths of the Earth this past year are all answering the call. In Utah, Liz Sherman fights for life after her injuries there, the BPRD is on the ropes, as is its Russian counterpart. In Scotland, Agent Carla Giarocco and her team are saved by intervention by Iosif Nichayko's forces. Fenix hitches a ride west, trying to stay ahead of the troubles.
