Continues from StormWatch (1993) #25, which was part of the "Images of Tomorrow" event.
Battalion has seen his own future. He knows of his impending death, and the destruction of SkyWatch and StormWatch at the hands of his own father. But he must carry on.
Talos is free, and has obtained an army of Warborgs in Japan. Weatherman One decides to send in a StormWatch team even though the Japanese government has asked to handle this on their own.
When Talos is finally cornered, he threatens the use of an explosive. But Battalion, no longer afraid of his impending death, blows it up with both of them in the blast zone. With Talos taken care of, they return to SkyWatch. Later, Synergy comes to Battalion's quarters, hoping to restart their earlier relationship.
