Sunburst, who has been having trouble adjusting to his new life, has a nightmare in which StormWatch Prime is attacked by the other members of StormWatch. But the bomb they were attempting to disarm turns out to be Sunburst himself.
There have been several silmultaneous terrorist attacks at high profile historical locations around the globe, and Weatherman One, against his better judgement, decides to send StormWatch Prime to the Vatican. After taking a few of them down, Prime discovers that the terrorists are Daemonites.
In the Vatican, Sunburst finds a bomb. When Battalion arrives to help, Sunburst does not trust him and flies the bomb away to save the area. As they all try to make sense of the situation, Lord Defile watches over them, gloating over his effective manipulation of StormWatch.
Upon returning to SkyWatch, Jackson King is approached by a strange man who teleports him to the future.
