Having survived the destruction of Four Freedoms Plaza, the heroes are soon attacked by Magus and the Dark Thanos, who they mistakenly believe are the real Thanos and Adam Warlock. With the help of the mystics in the group, they devise a plan to follow them.
Dr. Strange along with Galactus and his Heralds are still on the the trail of the mysterious energy readings closely followed by Dr. Doom and Kang. Also on the trail of the energy readings are the Infinity Watch with Thanos.
Quasar soon discovers that the cosmic being known as Eternity appears to be catatonic.
Having discovered that he is being followed, the Magus destroys Galactus's ship.
The Magus then sends a large group of Doppelgangers to attack Earths heroes. At the same time with the help of the mystics a large group of Earth's heroes confront Thanos and the Infinity Watch.
