Quote:When I was in school, most teachers were very particular about how to put your heading on a paper, with all the correct info in the correct format. If you didn't, the paper could be rejected, or you could have your grade docked for it. But shouldn't the teacher just accept it and make changes herself when the info was wrong? I mean, by virtue of the fact the paper existed and I was in her class--that should have been enough for her to fill in the blanks, right? But then I realize I'm not the only student amongst all her different classes, and it's not up to her to fix my mistakes. I mean, what if all the students were not diligent in providing the correct info? Is the onus on her to fix everyone's work?
YES!!! The difference is, we're
PAYING for the service expecting it to already be done,
PAYING for the right to list anything under the service we just provided for free if it does get approved,
PAYING to use it as part of the database subscription if we aren't sellers and you're
CHARGING others to use the work we provided as well!!!! As soon as we stop
PAYING, we no longer get the benefit of our labor.
While I personally feel a lot of the approvers are really great people, although misguided, this is a completely different situation. The more correct parallel would be this was happening in the cafeteria and the lunch lady forgot to make the salad. We want salad but you want us to make the salad ourselves, aren't happy with the way we tossed it, sliced the carrots, dressed it or whatever so now no-one gets to eat it for a long period of time and then if we ever do, you're going to charge us for the serving, and again tomorrow and so on. A simple could we get some salad should be all the students need to say. We're not chefs even though you want us to be.
I'm not the only person that feels this way. The poster apparently has similar feelings and there's no telling how many hundreds or even thousands of others felt similar and just left without ever taking the time to make our feelings clear so CCL can know why we're leaving. At least people like us are trying to make it clear that we aren't happy and the status qua isn't sufficient for our needs.
You may now resume attacking the messengers!!!!

For those picking, Heiney is now with the Chargers andhas 2 completions for 24 yards last time I checked this year. :)
Less than a year ago you didn't want us to be able to have the 2nd pick in the draft.
Seems like you're making progress, now to apply some of that to your Prime Time picks to see if you can catch up to me.
