As a public relations stunt, Lex Luthor chose ordinary citizens and used his resources to change their lives, but Rudy Jones was more interested in freeloading. In the Lexcorp cafeteria, Rudy ate a donut contaminated by an experimental mutagenic chemical. It transformed him into a hideous human parasite, able to leech the life-energy out of anyone he touches. Over the years parasite has proven uniquely dangerous to Superman -- and his horrific hunger will never be satisfied.
