The XP-14F Combat Jet (or Skystriker) was available in 1983 and was the first G.I.Joe airplane for the 3 and 3/4" line of action figures.
The Skystriker had retractable wings and landing gear, and fit two figures under it's canopy. The seats could be removed to simulate an emergency ejection from the cockpit. A parachute was attached to the pilot's seat for a safe landing.
The Skystriker came with blueprints, accessories, a sticker sheet, and "Ace", the pilot of the Skystriker.
