"Kismet: The Road Not Taken"
Triangle 1992-35.
Continued from Superman (1987) #71, continues in Action Comics (1938) #681.
In the aftermath of the Blaze/Satanus war Superman finds himself drifting in an odd dimension where his powers are beyond his control. Confronted by a being calling herself Kismet, the Man of Steel is forced to consider and closely examine major decisions he's made in his past. Executing three Kryptonian murderers in an alternate dimension, a drinking and driving incident during his high school years, sharing his secret identity with Lois, and saving Sam Foswell's life.
Were these actions really his own decision or was he being manipulated?
Were any of these decisions mistakes?
As he ponders these issues he's also shown images of what may come to be, for better or worse, depending on decisions he hasn't made yet and possibly never will.
