Reed Richards is trying to get Franklin to bed, and only a bed-time story will do the trick. Franklin's favorites are stories about the Sentry, with whom he has a fascination.
"Saved by the Wail!"
In the 31st century, the Guardians of the Galaxy sense the imminent birth of a new living planet, and call Sentry and his group to safeguard the birthing process from the invading race of the Olettas.
"Far-Out Taste!"
In a parody of the ads that used to run in Marvel books for Hostess Fruit Pies, Sentry foils a plot by Cranio by distributing Marvel Fruit Pies to orphanage kids to distract them from Cranio's mental manipulations.
"Fan Club!"
The Sentry's fan club has gotten ahold of Reed Richards' design for an android, and have built a Sentry android to help whenever Sentry was tied up elsewhere. Nobody tells the real Sentry, and they get overreaching, deciding who the Sentry should and shouldn't date.
None of these stories seem to satisfy Franklin, who has observed that they don't all add up. In fact, the reader is given the impression that all these stories are a veneer over the unknown fundamental truth of the Sentry.
