"How Joe Became World Champ"
Joe, on a military transport ship, is asked to tell the story of how he became the Champ. He tells of how he worked in Knobby's clothing shop, and was swindled by thugs. Knobby is ruined, and later hears of a fight promoter looking for a candidate to take a dive for his fighter, the World Champion. Knobby signs Joe up for the fight. 10 pages, b&w.
