"When Iceman Attacks"
Spidey has to think fast and take drastic action when he is caught in Peter Parker's apartment by Gwen Stacy and Sam Bullit. His solution is to fake kidnapping Gwen, to throw off course any suspicion of a connection with Parker.
At ground level, Bobby Drake sees Spider-Man swinging off with an unwilling passenger and decides to intervene. Iceman is back in the game. Spidey is surprised by Drake's power, and has to make a run for it when police amass around the street block.
The X-Man gently lowers Gwen back to the street by express ice bridge. Bullit laps up the situation, cajoling Iceman to foster his crusade and conning the Press men that the Mutant's on his payroll.
J. Jonah Jameson discovers his moral backbone when details of Bullit's shady background come to light. Threatened by withdrawn Daily Bugle support for his District Attorney election campaign, Bullit takes aggressive action.
Robbie is frogmarched out of his office by Bullit's thugs. When Peter changes to Spider-Man to follow their car, Iceman picks the worst moment to show up again.
