The god Damon has awakened and is wrathful. In ancient times, he lost his love, the goddess Lelania, and now the Savage Land must pay. Ka-Zar and Tongah do their best to slow him down, but ultimately it is Tongah's sister who sacrifices herself to re-awaken the goddess, bringing the threat to a close.

The Black Panther has the drop on Dr. Doom. Doom had hoped to sneak into Wakanda to raid the vibranium lode for his weaponry, but had been caught. Doom tricks the Panther with talk of nobility and fair combat, turning the tables. Ultimately, T'Challa risks his entire kingdom bluffing Doom that he will cause a chain reaction in the vibranium lode if Doom does not desist.
