"The Fat Man!"
A reporter follows a fat man who eats like there's no tomorrow. The man is evasive, and is continually anxious about his next meal, making sure he stays at least 250 pounds. The reporter finally gets the fat man to divulge that he is actually from Saturn, where the gravity is greater, and if he cannot stay 250 lbs, then he will float away.

"Eve of Halloween!"
The little girl tries her best to be good for her mother, who has promised to take her out for Halloween, but she keeps on ending up in trouble. The mother sees her daughter's sincerity, and keeps her promise as the two ride on their witch's brooms through the night skies.

"The Hypnotist!"
Timid Irwin Botts hires a hypnotist to make him more self-confident. This inadvertently leads to Irwin becoming a prize fighter. The hypnotist keeps his therapy in place until the prize fight, which Irwin wins without the hypnotic spell. Irwin learns the confidence was always a part of him, after all.
