Somber Avengers, Captain and Hawkeye arrive at Garrett Castle entrusting the immobilized, metallic body of Dane Whitman to the care of noviciate sorceress, Victoria Bentley.
A curse on the Ebony Blade is responsible for the Black Knight's incapacity. Miss Bentley however, through accident rather than design, summons forth the essence of Dane's ancestor, Sir Percy of Scandia; whose spirit now animates the body of the Black Knight.
