Still trying to find out what happened to Hannah and Remfro, Jack now has to deal with a hostage situation. In this case Corbett wants to offer a trade between Hermes and the beast that Jack has sedated. Meanwhile Hannah finds herself and Remfro in a group of Grith, who assists them in escape from a fallen building.

A farmer is given a steel-wheeled tractor by Jack and puts it to good use.
