Genis wakes up to find his love Songbird is dead. He then wakes up to find her very much alive and going into labor. The cycle continues as Marvel and Rick, both unconscious, deal with the effects of what Walker did to Rick. Eventually, Rick wakes up, still with one arm, and still old.
