In the future, Captain Marvel takes on the Kree, Shi'ar, and Skrulls. In the present, Marlo is nearly kidnapped by Magus. After Marvel repels the alien invaders and secures Earth for mankind, he moves to the future to find the next critical point in Marlo's timeline.
