After their last encounter with Ely-Vell, Captain Marvel and Rick are stuck in the far future. Ely's taken the Nega-Bands, so Captain Marvel is stuck in the microverse. We learn that Ely's plans involve unleashing Magus. Meanwhile, in the present, Magus apparently kills Moondragon.
