The Firewoman is an ancient Shaman who has know Justin in previous lives. She forces the eternal Warrior King back into the real world when she bestows Justin with the ancient relic that controls the fate of two worlds. A relic promised to a powerful demon that has returned to earth after being banished to the Darkness for over three thousand years.
This is a unique spin on the standard video gamer story. Kutcher tries to show why some people become so immersed in the virtual world and the consequences of that life through the suffering and redemption of the main character Justin and his journey to be the hero he so desperately wants to become.
